Microsoft 365 Business Premium — Deployed and Managed Right

Microsoft 365 is the backbone of most modern businesses. But there's a massive difference between 'we have Office 365' and 'our Microsoft 365 environment is properly secured, managed, and optimized.' Most businesses are leaving 80% of what they're paying for on the table — and leaving critical security features turned off.

What Most Businesses Get Wrong About Microsoft 365

We see it constantly: a business is paying for Microsoft 365 Business Premium but only using email and Word. Meanwhile:

  • Intune device management is not configured
  • Conditional access policies don’t exist
  • MFA is optional or not enforced
  • Data loss prevention (DLP) rules aren’t set
  • SharePoint is a mess with no governance
  • Email security is running on default settings
  • No backup exists for Microsoft 365 data (Microsoft doesn’t back up your data for you — this surprises most people)

This isn’t a Microsoft problem. It’s a configuration and management problem. And it’s exactly what we fix.

What Proper Microsoft 365 Management Looks Like

Intune Device Management

Every device that touches your data is enrolled, managed, and secured. We configure compliance policies, app protection, and remote wipe capabilities so a lost laptop doesn’t become a data breach.

Conditional Access

Smart policies that control who can access what, from where, and on which devices. Logging in from an unmanaged device at a coffee shop? Access is limited. Logging in from your managed laptop at the office? Full access. Automatically.

Email Security Hardening

Advanced anti-phishing policies, safe links, safe attachments, DMARC/DKIM/SPF configuration, and impersonation protection. Email is your biggest attack surface — we lock it down.

SharePoint & OneDrive Governance

Proper structure, permissions, and sharing policies so your team can collaborate without accidentally exposing sensitive files to the world.

Microsoft 365 Backup

Third-party backup of your Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams data. Because Microsoft’s retention policies are not a backup — and if data is deleted or encrypted by ransomware, Microsoft won’t recover it for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

We already have Office 365 — isn't that enough?
Having Office 365 and properly managing it are very different things. Most businesses use less than 20% of their license capabilities and have critical security features disabled.
Does Microsoft back up our data?
No. Microsoft provides infrastructure uptime, not data backup. Their shared responsibility model clearly states that data protection is the customer's responsibility. If an employee deletes files, ransomware encrypts your SharePoint, or a departing employee wipes their account, Microsoft won't recover it.
What's the difference between Business Basic, Standard, and Premium?
Premium includes Intune device management, advanced threat protection, and Azure AD P1 features that are essential for security. We strongly recommend Premium for any organization serious about security. The cost difference is small compared to the risk reduction.
